The Becoming

We all have a story with so much to say, experiences and moments written into our hearts. I began my photography journey in order to freeze time - then as my heart for people and love of this art grew I started really, truly yearning to really tell people’s stories.

This desire is what has landed me here working on this project that is so close to my heart.

The revival of my heart has come from the mission to show and share with you the hearts of women that are transforming.

This project is about so much for me and for the women you will meet. It’s about the overcoming. The renewal. And in Ashley’s case-the becoming.

When I started making these, it was with the intention of showing the freedom that comes when we know Christ and the transformation of becoming. Becoming who He sees us to be. The freedom found in feeling His all encompassing love. Becoming bold and letting the fears be drowned in His light.
